  We have therefore chosen not to commit to an action plan with a 3-year reduction objective via the charter, but to maintain a level of performance over the long term, thanks to this label.

As part of its CSR policy and as a local and responsible corporate citizen, Lactinov-Groupe Lact’Union has decided to support guidance for isolated and vulnerable children thanks to local sponsorship, set up by France Parrainages, in order to:

• Create a lasting bond between an isolated and vulnerable child or young adult and a caring couple in his department🫶.

• Share enjoyable moments with your adopted godchild (during the day, at weekends or during school vacations).

• Provide emotional and educational support, as well as opening to other horizons.
  

• Help children or young adult to grow up, build themselves up and become fulfilled adults.

Launched in 2023 through financial support, this patronage will enable France Parrainages association to assist 13 children or young adult thanks to local patronage and to introduce them our jobs and farms. It will also be the occasion for our employees to become patrons.

But at @Lact’Union, we don’t wait for this day to act, it’s all year long that we work on this topic. 💪

Our goal is to reduce our water consumption through investments in new, more efficient technologies, daily checks and by raising awareness among our staff.

In 2022, it is already 60,000 m3 of water that has been saved, or 24 Olympic pools. 🏊 And as act for long term, we expect to double the savings within 2 years!

And you, what are your tips to reduce your water consumption?

🌍 This year Lact’Union is working on 2 big projects for its CSR strategy :

• Update of our carbon footprint 2018 with 2022 data.
• A collective “Act” assessment.

These projects will enable us to measure our achievements and to update our strategy with more ambitious and long-term ambitions.

New objectives and action plans will be set up to reduce even more our environmental impacts. 🌱

These actions will be directly decided by collaborators during a “climate fresco” (team building) in June.

For the Sustainable Development week, Lact’Union Group commits once more in protecting the environment by raising awareness among its employees on everyday and at work eco-gestures.

A quiz allowed them to test their knowledges, at stake, a box of French products for the best!

In total, 387 people were sensitize (93% of our employees).

Congratulations to our winners! 👏

Because 1 month without tobacco is 5 times more chance to quit! ❌ 

And that sometimes all it takes is a little help to take the plunge…

Lact’Union Group organizes on-site and participates in the financing of hypnosis session to help its employees quit smoking.

This action aims at either preserving environment and biodiversity of our landscapes or reducing greenhouse gases thanks to carbon sequestration; goal that we share as à local dairy cooperative with strong CSR values.

This is why we decided to be a sponsor of this project and financed the planting of 96m of hedges along the departmental road close to our plant Babydrink.🌍🤝
